Quick Badminton Racket Guide

Not in a rush? Check out our detailed racket guide.

Beginners: opt for even-balanced rackets — easier to learn on and versatile across shots.
Intermediate players: consider a slightly head-heavy racket for power, or head-light for speed, depending on your style.
Advanced players: usually have specific preferences — power, speed, or control — matched to their playing style.

Ultralight (5U/6U/7U): easiest to control, quick swing — good for beginners and defensive players.
Standard (4U): balanced feel — good for intermediate players.
Heavy (3U): emphasises power, harder to manoeuvre — preferred by advanced players.

Head-Heavy: emphasises power, ideal for smashing.
Even Balance: a mix of power and speed, good for all-court play.
Head-Light: emphasises speed and quick reflexes, ideal for the front court and doubles.

Beginners: lower end of the range — a larger, more forgiving sweet spot.
Intermediate: mid-range — a good mix of power and control.
Advanced: higher end of the range — precise control, but needs consistent technique.

Flexible: easier for beginners, generates power with less effort but can compromise accuracy.
Medium: balanced flex, suits most intermediate players.
Stiff: preferred by advanced players — precise, but needs good technique to generate power.

Smaller hands: G5 or smaller.
Average hands: G4.
Larger hands: G3.

The Arcsaber 7 Tour offers a premium frame for all-round players at an affordable price point.

The ARCSABER frame is designed to flex at the point of impact to hold the shuttle on the string bed for longer. By storing and then releasing energy, ARCSABER delivers precise shot-making for players seeking a higher level of control. Positioned at the sides of the racquet, CS Carbon Nanotubes improve the frame’s elasticity, holding the shuttle on the string bed for enhanced control at the point of impact.

Aero+Box Frame - Combines solid hitting feel and quick swing.

Isometric - ISOMETRICTM technology continues to help the world’s greatest players achieve global success. Developed over 30 years ago, the ISOMETRICTM design increases the sweet spot by 7%*. Compared to a conventional round frame, a square-shaped ISOMETRICTM racquet generates a larger sweet spot by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings. ISOMETRICTM delivers greater control without sacrificing power. ISOMETRICTM is a Trademark of Yonex CO., LTD.

Rotational Generator System - By applying the counterbalance theory, weight is distributed throughout the grip end, frame top and the joint for maximum control. The transition to the next shot can be performed smoothly, with rapid succession.

Energy Boost Cap Plus - Uniquely shaped cap which maximizes shaft performance. The front allows the shaft to flex, while the sides arch-shaped curve stabilizes the racquet face by preventing the shaft from twisting.

Extra Slim Shaft - Cutting edge NANOMETRIC carbon technology is used to produce an ultra-thin, ultra-tough, aerodynamic shaft, created for a stronger and more intense shot.
