Victor Thruster K BXR Badminton Racket is perfect for the attack –minded players who demands power for every shot. Victor has designed one of its most potent rackets that is suited perfectly for the power player who plays an explosive game. The K-BXR combines Victors innovative POWER BOX and HARD CORED to improve the stability and anti-torque of the racket, allowing it to produce delicate control alongside dynamic power. Another improvement is the one –piece T-joint which allows the smooth transfer of power from shaft to frame, allowing you to effortlessly produce greater repulsion when the string-bed connects with the shuttlecock.
Additionally, the introduction Victor’s cutting edge Whipping Enhancement System (WES) provides the racket with better control and greater repulsion when you need it. This system uses a softer material in a specific part of the shaft near the throat that enhances the racket-head acceleration in a whipping style. This combined with its ULTRA THIN FRAME causes your racket to accelerate much faster and gives you steeper angles when you unleash smashes at the back-court.
This racket is the ideal choice for players who are able to handle a stiff flex and head heavy balance with sufficient control. Properly used, this racket will take your game to the next level with the explosive power it offers you.
Our View: This racket is one of the most demanding yet satisfying rackets produced by Victor in their iconic Thruster series. The stiff flex and head heavy balance might not suit beginners as it requires large amount of strength to generate power and control. However, if you have been playing with an even balance racket and are looking for a more powerful racket then the Victor Thruster K BXR could be the one for you.
We tested the K-BXR with Victors VBS 66 NANO strings and the combination produce a excellent acoustic sound and touch throughout the session. At the back –court we were able to unleash smash after smash with excellent power due to the stiff and heavy balance of the racket. Cut drops and slices were delicate and precise. It was only towards the front of the court the racket struggled slightly as the stiffer flex made the racket slightly slower than other faster models (Jetspeed S10Q or Light Fighter Series). In defence we were able to hit full clears to the base effortlessly and the transition to soft net court touches was smooth.
This racket is more suited towards an intermediate and advanced player who are looking for a dynamic racket to complement their attacking game. The raw power and explosiveness offered by the K-BXR will take your game to a whole new level .
